Mr. Md. Shakil Rizvi is a renowned personality in Bangladesh Capital Market. He has been associated with Bangladesh Capital Market since 1987. He has played an important role for a balanced, accountable, transparent and modernized Stock Exchange. He played a vital role for the development of DSE and Capital Market locally and globally through introducing DSE in the World Federation of Exchanges and many other renowned foreign Stock Exchanges as a President of DSE from 2010 to 2011.
He was Vice-President of DSE in 2009 and served as Director of DSE during 2004 to 2006. He has also been elected as Shareholder Director in the demutualized Board of DSE in February 2014 to March 2018. He was also the President of DSE TREC Holders’ Club (former Members’ Club) in 2002 and 2003.
Mr. Rizvi is the Managing Director of Rizvi Fashions Ltd (100% export oriented compliance garments factory), Shakil Rizvi Stock Ltd., and Shakil Rizvi Asset Ltd. He is playing an important role to Earning foreign currency for our country.
He has been elected as Shareholder Director in the Board of National Tea Company Ltd. (NTC) December 2017.
